Babies/Children dress & shoe sizes
Confusing as everything is different in Germany?
Which size is the right one? As if it was not bad enough that every garment varies according to the manufacturer (a standard for children's clothing does not exist) - many countries such as the US, UK, France, Italy or Japan have their own size specifications.
Dress size
While it is still relatively easy to select the right dress size for the English children's sizes from the US and the UK, because the information is indicated months and years, for other international children's sizes you might need a size chart.
Shoe size
This becomes especially clear with shoe sizes. While the European shoe sizes are based on the length of the "Parisian line" (6.67 mm) as a base unit, the British use the length of a Barleycorns (8.47 mm) for determining the shoe size.
