I strongly recommend the birth preparation course from Gravidamiga, it played a key role in making the birth of my first son and the post-partum a smooth experience. I received all the information required to support me making decisions; and defining my birth plan. 
Course strengths are: 
1) Holistic and unbiased view on giving birth in Germany: how delivery rooms work in Germany (which is very different from the countries I lived)
2) Practical information/material:  PH test Strips to detect rupture of membrane,  phone number of delivery rooms, birth plan, useful products (e.g. cream, oil, tea, etc) to solve specific concerns during pregnancy/postpartum; etc.  
3) Structured course with handout: During the course I could focus on the explanations instead of making notes; and later I could review the topics that I needed. 
4) Breath techniques and birth positions
I also did the birth preparation course in German (paid by the health insurance), but it did not have/cover the items 1), 2) and 3) of the list above
